Company Policies

 

  • Unless a specified service is requested, all orders will be invoiced as Priority.


  • Parcels must be properly packaged and sealed before leaving your designated location.   If it is not, driver will request that this be corrected.   Drivers have the right to refuse improperly packaged or unsealed materials.

 

  • New Customers : Delivery Today Inc. requires that your first delivery request be written on your company letterhead. Your company letterhead should include the authorized person's name, company name, address, phone number, email address, fax number, and your credit card information for processing. After this first payment, we will then be happy to bill you on a bi-weekly billing cycle.

 

  • Deliveries SHOULD be ready when the order is placed.   If the order is not ready when the driver arrives, he will wait.  This will accrue a specific waiting fee.  *See Waiting Service 

 

  • Packages should be properly addressed in great detail, including phone number of destination.   This will assure prompt delivery and will not incur any outside charges to the delivery rate.   Incorrectly addressed packages will alter the original delivery rate.

 

  • Drivers MUST obtain a signature for every delivery.   If a signature cannot be obtained, your business will be contacted and we will request that you give us specific instruction on what to do with your delivery.   Your instructions may cause an alteration to the delivery rate.
